Carla Ungureanu is a rising young pianist, recognized for her artistic refinement, interpretative maturity, and musical sensitivity. Born in 2008, Carla began studying piano at the age of 8 and quickly demonstrated remarkable progress, establishing herself as a notable presence in the Romanian clasical music scene.
She is currently a 10th-grade student at the Dinu Lipatti National College of Arts in Bucharest, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Olga Podobinschi. At the same time, she has deepened her studies at the prestigious Schola Cantorum in Paris, where, in 2023, she completed the Cycle Supérieur in the class of Professor Maurizio Moretti, receiving the highest distinction awarded by the jury.
Her artistic career has been shaped by participation in numerous masterclasses alongside renowned pianists and pedagogues, such as Shwan Sebastian, Andreas Frölich, Michail Lifits, Giuseppe Devastato, Eduard Kunz, Florian Mitrea, Toma Popovici, William Fong, and Viniciu Moroianu.
Carla made her solo debut in October 2020 during a recital organized by the Hungarian Cultural Center in Bucharest, performing works by Bach, Haydn, Liszt, and Schumann.
